Seeing as this is my last day of photos I thought I’d show you a couple of things I’ve been working on for my Uni course.
I am studying Fine Art in London and I’ve been making some small sculptures with thread, making patterns with the taught yarn. I decided to try out the same sort of pattern but on a bigger scale and tree branches seemed like a good place to start.
I was lucky to get these photos in such a nice light, I took them very early in the morning, the sun was out for about 5 minutes and then it rained for the rest of the day.
The window in the door has been boarded for nearly 3 weeks and finally the man came and put the glass back in, it’s special laminated glass so it’s more difficult to break.
The house now smells of putty, not sure if I like the putty smell, the door also needs painting as it has big screw holes in it.
I waited 30 minutes for my bus today, I get it from the bus stand and it’s usually waiting for me when I get there in the morning. But today it wasn’t as there had been an accident and the driver was on a diversion. Shortly after he arrived 2 more buses turned up.
Because I get on at the bus stand I get the bus to myself for a while, some of the divers will let you sit on the bus and wait, others make you stand in the rain.
This is my desk at work, I am a clerical assistant for an for a charity. We are busy at the moment with newsletters, event planning and ordering resources, but that’s not really an excuse as my desk usually looks like that, infact it looks quite tidy today.
Tomorrow is the start of the ‘My Week in Photos’ on Swapbot.
I thought a blog might be a good way of organising the photos that I’ll be sending to my partner.
